Being a part of new delhi for last 20 years now, its hard to settle down in any other regions of Delhi for me. I was born and brought up in Rohini, West Delhi. With over thousands of locals living here , this place has developed a lot in every sense, weather it is Infrastructure, housing , educational, fun and leisure, and many else. In almost all over west Delhi, locals are increasing, in last 25 years. If you are also part of West Delhi you can share your thoughts as well or people who are new to West Delhi, would find this blog very helpful to understand us even better.
Well, technically, West Delhi is been divided into some main places , namely, Patel nagar, Rajouri garden, Punjabi bagh , Janakpuri, Rohini, Dwarka. These are the most highlighted places of west Delhi that one could visit. With over hundred of shopping malls to hunt in, thousands of different delicacies to try, including crazy spicy street side food, the most crowded time of the year is the wedding season, when all the delhiite are busy finishing their shopping lists, dealing with so much traffic jams, all at the same time. In case you are looking for some good shopping place in west delhi, around Janakpuri side, you might want to try Tilak nagar market, its a huge commercial place, where you can find number of different shops and store, big and small and mall, even small street side shops as well. There is variety of casuals, party wears, accessories, footwear and much more, that you love to buy, and Wednesdays closed every week, and Tilak nagar metro station as the nearest one to the market.

One cannot deny the fact that this place is most accepted for shoppers, no matter what season is up! you can always find this place updated and popular in all respect.
Known as refugee colony before 1950, when Hindu and Sikh migrants from Pakistan during partition settled here, now known as Punjabi bagh, is one of the most lavish and popular place in West Delhi, with big bunglows of wealthy traders and businessme.  Punajabi bagh is growing consistently  in last 40 years. Consist of number of health clubs, family restaurants, bars and pubs, recreational centers and much more, Punjabi bagh stadium is the place where every year Hindu Shri krishan Janamashtmi Mahotsav is being organised. The neighboring areas from here is, Paschim vihar, Moti nagar, Pitampura and Rajouri garden.
One of the oldest, yet now rapidly establishing, Rohini, is the upfront residential areas of the capital. With one fo the delhi metro's major hub, Rohini is assorted with number of shopping malls, family restaurants and pubs , educational facilities, and much more, Also sector 7, is known as the Chandni chowk of Rohini.
